brutal honesty

i find it amusing when i hear that people think that i put them down when they ask my opinion of something.

i do not put people down.

i am brutally honest.

BIG. DIFFERENCE.

i don't sugar coat and make things out to be all sunshine and ponies just because it is what you want to hear.

i tell you the honest truth.

it can be anything from "no that shirt really does make you look fat" to "are you fucking stupid? you cant afford your rent yet you get a puppy?"

maybe i can get a little rude. but i don't do that on purpose. i just don't think before i speak.

but regardless... would you rather look like shit with your new hair do or would you rather someone tell you before you leave that you look like a twit.

it tends to piss people off. and yet, if you know me, you know that i am like this and nothing will change that. i wont put on a fake smile and pretend to be happy for you when you are making the biggest mistake of your life just because everyone else is too afraid to make you cry or something by giving you an ear shot of the truth.

i say it how i see it.

and guess what... the truth hurts.
